Booking & General

How do I book an appointment?

Call or text (786) 715-1891, or fill out the request form on this page. Our office will confirm your appointment day and time by phone or text.

Do I need to pay a deposit to book?

No. No payment is required to request an appointment — everything is confirmed by phone or text first.

What are your hours?

We're open 7 days a week, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Is Deluxe Mobile Pet Grooming a licensed business?

Yes. We're registered with the Miami-Dade Tax Collector (License #7196838) and the Miami-Dade County Business Affairs office (Reg. #U17-128933).

Do I need to be present during the appointment?

No. Most visits run 60–120 minutes depending on the service and your pet's coat condition. We'll text you when your pet is ready.

Dog Grooming

How often should I get my dog groomed?

Most dogs in Miami-Dade do best on a 4–6 week schedule. Double-coated breeds and dogs sensitive to South Florida's heat often benefit from more frequent baths.

Do you handle matting?

Mild matting is handled as part of a normal groom. Severe matting may require a shorter, more comfortable clip for your dog's safety — we'll always discuss that with you first.

What's the difference between a bath & brush and a full groom?

A bath & brush includes a wash, blow-dry, and brush-out with no haircut. A full groom adds a breed-appropriate cut, nail trim, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing.

Do you groom senior dogs or dogs with anxiety?

Yes. We check in with your dog before any clippers come out and work at a pace that keeps nervous or senior dogs comfortable.

What's included in a full-service groom?

A luxury bath, breed-specific cut, nail trim, ear cleaning, gland expression on request, teeth brushing, and a cologne & bandana finish.

Cat Grooming

Do indoor cats really need grooming?

Yes — even indoor cats benefit from regular brushing and de-shedding, especially long-haired breeds, to reduce matting, hairballs, and loose fur around the home.

Is my cat too old or too anxious to be groomed?

We work at your cat's pace and use gentle, low-stress handling. Let us know about any anxiety or health concerns when you book.

Will my cat need to be in a carrier?

No car ride needed — we come to you, so your cat stays in its own home environment the entire time.

How often should I get my cat groomed?

Most cats do well with grooming every 6–8 weeks, though long-haired breeds or heavy shedders may benefit from more frequent visits.

Do you handle multiple cats in one visit?

Yes — let us know how many pets you have when booking so we can plan enough time for everyone.

Non-Anesthesia Dental Cleaning

Is non-anesthesia dental cleaning safe?

Yes. Our certified groomers use a gentle, hands-on technique designed to keep your pet calm and comfortable without the risks that come with sedation.

How much does it cost?

Non-anesthesia teeth cleaning is a flat rate with no surprise add-ons — call or text us for current pricing.

How often should my pet get their teeth cleaned?

Most pets benefit from a dental cleaning every 6–12 months, though this can vary based on breed, age, and diet.

What are the signs my pet needs dental care?

Bad breath, visible tartar, red or swollen gums, and reduced interest in chewing toys or hard food can all signal it's time for a cleaning.

Can this be combined with a regular groom?

Yes — many clients add dental cleaning onto a full-service groom visit. Mention it when you book.

Puppy's First Groom

When should my puppy get their first groom?

Many puppies can start light grooming visits around 10–12 weeks old, once they've settled into their first rounds of vaccinations — check with your vet if you're unsure about timing.

Will my puppy's first groom include a full haircut?

Not necessarily. The first visit focuses on comfort and a positive experience — bathing, gentle handling, and a light trim, at your puppy's pace.

What if my puppy is scared or squirmy?

That's completely normal. Our groomers move slowly, take breaks, and use positive reinforcement so your puppy never feels rushed or overwhelmed.

Do you groom puppies of all breeds?

Yes — from tiny toy breeds to future large-breed dogs, we tailor the pace and handling to your puppy specifically.
